I recently had the opportunity to try out the Checkbook Ledger iPhone App, and I must say, it is an incredibly smart and simple tool for managing your finances. With the ability to track multiple accounts such as checking, savings, cash, and credit cards, this app provides a seamless and user-friendly experience.

One of the standout features of Checkbook Ledger is its intuitive user interface. Even if you're not well-versed in accounting, navigating through this app is a breeze. You can easily view customized reports, schedule transactions, reconcile transactions, set up recurring transactions, and even attach receipts - all on the go.

One of the main advantages of using this app is the peace of mind it brings. You can easily keep track of your account balances, helping you avoid overdraft fees, prevent bouncing checks, and detect any errors from your bank. Managing your accounts has never been easier!

Main Features:

• Accounts: Create and manage multiple accounts with custom grouping. Easily view and manage balances and perform transfers between accounts.
• Transactions: Add, edit, and delete transactions with ease. Reconcile your transactions with a simple tap on the checkbox in the transaction register. View your balance and outstanding/cleared balances from the transactions screen. You can even attach photo images of receipts.
• Recurring Transactions: Set up recurring transactions to repeat weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. Customize the start date based on your preference.
• Recurring Income: Similar to recurring transactions, you can also set up recurring income with customizable schedules.
• Recurring Transfers: Transfer funds between accounts and schedule recurring transfers to automate the process.
• Charts & Reports: Gain insights into your expenses and income with 2D pie and bar charts. Track trends over the last six months.
• Settings: Customize the app with configurable settings. Create/edit/delete account categories, transaction categories, and payee lists. Use accounts delete lock to prevent accidental deletion of transactions. Protect your financial information with passcode protection.

In addition to these features, Checkbook Ledger is optimized for Retina Display, offers backup and restore options via iTunes interface, and adapts to your device's locale/region settings for accurate currency symbols.

Please note that the free version of the app only allows for one account. However, an upgrade is available within the app to unlock multiple account functionality.
